Lead Poisoning Prevention for Child Care Providers

Lead poisoning is one of the most common environmental illness among young children under the age of 6 years old.
During this presentation, you will learn:
-The problems of lead poisoning
-The steps to reduce lead exposure
-How to inspect for lead
-How to share this information with the families in your program

Note: Effective July 1, 2020, licensing applicants are required to take a Preventive Health Practices training which includes Lead Poisoning Prevention. If you took the 8-hr health and safety training before June 30, 2020 without the lead poisoning prevention topics and are getting licensed AFTER July 1, 2020, this class meets the requirement.
