DESCRIPTION:The core mission of the Community Care Licensing Division\, Child Care Licensing Program is to maintain the health and safety of children by ensuring that licensed child care facilities meet established standards.  CARE Tool was developed to be used by Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) when conducting inspections in licensed facilities.  This tool focused in three priority areas: Prevention\, Compliance\, and Enforcement.  Child care program staff will use this tool during annual inspections.
