DESCRIPTION:Presented by: Carla Fernandes-Goes\, Child Care Advocate from the Community Care Licensing Division  \nTitle 22 of the California Code of Regulations contains the “ground rules” for all licensed community care facilities\, including child care centers and family child care homes. This training focuses on the due process and procedural protections available to you as a state-licensed including the right to appeal. \nThe “Keeping Kids Close to Home Act” (SB 234) is a cornerstone of current licensing rights training. We will discuss the issues of child abuse and the legal responsibilities of California’s mandated reporters. All child care providers are encouraged to attend.
