If you are a child care provider caring for a child with special needs, the Child Care Council’s Inclusion Lending Library provides adaptive equipment to support children with disabilities. Adaptive equipment includes toys, games and other materials that can help children participate in routine daily activities in child care settings. Providers can check out adaptive materials ranging from a temporary ramp to the house, to a specialized bike for children with low muscle tone or orthopedic impairment.
Parents: You can refer your child care provider to the Inclusion Lending Library for specialized toys and adaptive equipment to help support your child in the child care setting. Books and videos in the Resource Library are available to both parents and providers.
