Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is responsible for the governance of the agency. Drawing on the expertise of its individual members, the Board of Directors functions in six primary areas: policy development, fund development, finance, personnel, evaluation and public relations. With input from staff, child care providers, parents and the community we serve, the Board develops the vision and mission of the agency, as well as establishes the core values under which the agency operates.
Internship projects are intended to expose college students to the array of programs and services provided to the community under the child care resource and referral umbrella. Projects are developed in conference with the student and the program manager, and are geared toward addressing the students’ interests, as well as a prevailing need within the Child Care Council. Internships are unpaid. However, with the approval of their college instructors, students may be eligible to receive college credit toward their degrees or certificates.
