As a graduate from ARC with an associates in Psychology, I have continued to take classes at SAC State University and am close to obtaining my bachelors. I have taken numerous courses on child development and have gained knowledge of psychological processes, developmental needs, the impacts of financial burdens on the growth of infants and toddlers, the importance of environments and nutrition, the importance of parenting and relationships. I have taken classes regarding the impacts of societal influences on children from their toddlerhood up to their adulthood. I will continue to sharpen my skills and knowledge regarding these topics, I am determined through highs and lows to continue my education in hopes of obtaining a masters in social work or closely related field to child care. I have worked jobs that have helped me gain confidence, leadership skills, communication skills, problem solving skills and helped me learn how to work well under pressure and in a solo/team environment.
Education
I have continued to take psychology classes at this college after transferring from American river college. I will continue to pursue my bachelors and join a masters program afterwards.
After 3 years of coursework including general education and psychology classes including general psych, child development, research psych and other psych classes, I obtained my Associates in Psychology.
After 4 years of coursework, I completed my High school and obtained my Diploma.
Experience
Started as an entry level tech and worked my way up to service coordinator. I communicate with my co-workers and manage workflow, speak to customers about their service and any obstacles that we had to clear to finish their service. I educate customers on proper maintenance for their tires, give quotes on services and deliver a good experience. This Job has sharpened me under pressure, allowed me to understand leadership roles and responsibilities, it helped me learn how to effectively communicate with co-workers when working as a team, I have learned to take lead and guide with patience. I have put my organizational skills to use and improved them in this job as well.
