Child Care Boost Initiative Cohort 2 Applications open!
Program Information
CocoKids is excited to introduce Cohort 2 of the Child Care Boost Initiative, a wage enhancement program. This 10-month program provides licensed child care providers in Contra Costa County with a Boost in their monthly income through a monthly wage enhancement stipend program. Participation in the program is based on application and priority scores and a lottery system.
Who is Eligible?
- New applicants only (Cohort #1 participants are not eligible)
- Providers must work directly with children at least 20 hours per week in Contra Costa County
- Programs must be in good standing with the California Community Care Licensing
- Programs receiving state or federal child care or preschool funding are not eligible
- Family Child Care Owners and Center-Based Directors must apply on behalf of their staff
- Applications will be scored on the following priorities: Programs in Antioch, Concord, Bay Point, Pittsburg, Richmond, and San Pablo; programs serving infants and toddlers and/or school-age children; programs providing care during non-traditional hours, such as overnight and weekend; and those serving children with documented disabilities.
