Research has shown self-regulation skills are the underlying proficiencies necessary for learning and success in school. These skills begin developing in infancy and their development can be supported both at home and in the learning environment. We will discuss what self-regulation is and review/practice activities for infants and toddlers that will support its development. This session will explore ways these activities and self-regulation development can be supported at home.
