Historical trauma occurs among specific communities or groups in response to a traumatic historical event.

In this training we will focus on Racism in an attempt to address and begin or continue to heal from the centuries of historical racism and collective trauma.

Through experiential learning, participants will:

• Develop a shared meaning of terminology.
• Strengthen self- awareness, and.
• Expand understanding of how trauma, early childhood and race are connected and can affect us.
