Parent Café

Parents are invited to join us for a virtual Parent Café! In this interactive adults-only workshop, we have invited Kidpower to present skills and strategies to protect young children from harm without scaring them.
Skills include:
- Setting boundaries
- Protecting their feelings
- Staying in charge of their bodies
- Staying safe from bullying, abuse, abduction, & other harm
- Knowing the Safety Plan if they get lost
- Advocating for your kids – and help them learn ageappropriate ways to get help, too!
- Checking with their grown-ups before changing plans about where they are going, what they are doing, and who they are with
- Teach kids to be safe using fun, not fear
Come as you are, strengthen your protective factors and learn more about your family’s strengths.
While we are no longer able to provide gift cards due to changes in funding, we truly value your participation and encourage you to join us. Your presence makes these sessions meaningful, and we look forward to seeing you there!
