This presentation introduces the California Poison Control System (CPCS) and its role as California’s fast, free, and confidential telehealth provider for poison information, advice, and treatment recommendations for the public and healthcare professionals statewide. Attendees will learn how the 24/7 Poison Hotline operates, common poison risks, and when and how to contact the center in an emergency, or for general questions.
