Learn how to reduce the risk of SIDS and other sleep-related infant deaths through evidence-based guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). This training will cover safe sleep practices, racial disparities in SUID, and how to engage families using motivational interviewing.

We’ll also review California Community Care Licensing sleep requirements for infants 0–12 months, including supervision, equipment, and documentation standards. Plus, learn how Contra Costa’s SIDS Program supports families and promotes prevention across the community.
