Good afternoon, Merfat! Thank you so much for reaching out. The stipend is coming directly from the state to licensees who held a license on June 25th, 2021. Community Care Licensing will be using a third party, Called Blackhawk Network to confirm your information. The registration/confirmation link will be sent via e-mail.
The check amounts are below:
$3,500 = CCC max capacity of 14 children or less.
$4,000 = CCC max capacity of between 15 and 24 children.
$5,000 = CCC max capacity of between 25 and 60 children.
$6,500 = CCC max capacity exceeds 60 children.

I’m a licensed childcare provider that has been serving children throughout the pandemic. I have not yet received an email from Blackhawk Network or the stipend in the mail. I received a phone call from my childcare licensing analyst back in June confirming annual visits will continue and that the stipend checks where being given out to provider that remained open serving families during the pandemic. I still haven’t seen anything just wondering now that we’re in the month of September nearing October. Is there something I’m missing? Should I be registering somewhere?
