Bay Area Health Officers Issue A Joint Statement to REASSURE the public that ALL three vaccines have been shown to be highly effective at preventing symptomatic illness and hospitalization. Also, clinical trials demonstrated that the vaccines were 100 percent effective in preventing deaths from COVID-19, and therefore are safe to take.
