Professional Development Program

The Early Childhood Education Professional Development Program (PDP), with funding from First 5 Contra Costa, provides academic and financial support to Early Childhood Education (ECE) students who have worked with children age 0-5 in a licensed or license exempt early care and education programs for at least nine months. If you are working towards a Child Development Teacher Permit or an Associate Degree in ECE, there are services available at the local colleges to help you achieve your goals.
